Green Revolution

Hi Guys,
Its been really long time since i blogged but after hectic schedule with my business i have a lovely theme to write upon.
Everyone is very much aware of the fact regarding global warming and stuff like that.
I had a deep thought about it and when considering what a layman will think about global warming the answer is "i dont care". This is what everyone's mentality is all about when we speak about global issues. We can blame it on the developed world, developing world and so on but the damage is as such to the globe itself.
The only way to minimise damage control is one and only by hard rule to the common man so he is left with no other choice than to follow it atleast by hate.
To control global warming.........can we stop using motor transport or minimize electricity consumption or infrastructure development or deforestation..... no we can't.
Atleast can a man be contented with what he got and lead a peaceful life the answer is always a perpendicular middle finger.
When people were asked to be very conservative about water no one gave it a thought. When the then CM of Tamilnadu made it a hard rule that rain water harvesting should be done then it got materialised but then she lost her job which is another story.
The present CM made a rule that tamil movies should have tamil title for tax waiver and made tamil titles possible.
Taking a cue from their work ......i suggest a rule to control global warming.
PLANT TREES.
Trees minimize Carbon di oxide emission which is the main cause(72%) for global warming.
Trees breathe CO2 for their living and emits O2 which we breathe.
If we say "one family one tree" no one is serious.
I have a plan.....ten years plan for green revolution.
Make a rule that after ten years electricity, motor vehicles etc will be alloted based only on how many trees they grow in their house and working place.
If we implement this rule right away people will be left with no other option than to grow trees wherever they could atleast for their own benefits or not to get bereaved of their luxury.
That too the first category trees should be one fruit bearing and one for medicinal importance is a must which indirectly helps in controlling food inflation too. Second category is trees for furniture and paper. Third one is flower and ornamental trees.
For people in flats, there should be provision for planting trees individually just like obtaining parking space individually. When we can spend so many lakhs to obtain a flat why not a small space for growing trees be added to it. Dont i smell good.!!!!!!!!!
If this comes into effect people will be more worried about their trees than even money as trees will be the deciding factor on their own luxury.
If cricket is a religion then after this revolution trees will also be if not more religious.
Please take this into consideration and let this mother earth live for our future generations to breathe upon.
Lets hear bird chirping, trees sashaying not in the forest but also in and around our area too. Dreaming about that kind of environment itself makes me feel so good.
I even thinking about put-forth this idea to our environmental minister for consideration.
Awaiting your valuable comments.
Adios.

If I were a baby again

Hi guys,
My virgin attempt in blog-a-ton makes my day very special and no other topic is good enough to start my post.
"If i were a baby again"- when i think about the topic makes my heart lighter and wish i were a baby again.
Whenever i see my 3 year old son running around, screaming, laughing, playing etc makes me always jealous and wish i am him.
Turning back the chronology machine as a baby i would be living life everyday as if the world is ending today and no tomorrow.
I would like to share a story to show the difference in the way of thinking - as a child and as a common man.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Loved ones, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

If i were a kid i will be interested in nothing but golf balls but being a man i am now rather interested in only pebbles and sand.
As a fellow blog-a-tonic i wish all our community to be a baby to shower their interest in golf balls and two cups of coffee rather than pebbles and sand.
I believe everyone agrees with me and i am open to differences in my opinion.
Adios.

Grave Desires

Hi guys,
I believe everyone had a blast on diwali and same here.
Few days back while grazing with t.v. remote and i ended up in Vijay Tv's "Nadanthathu Enna" which deals with true stories mostly happening inside Tamilnadu. I was shocked to see a mobile clipping of a priest with a woman in a room in between Pooja room and disciples area. The so called priest collects pooja materials from the disciples and does prayer to God and in between having fun with the woman. To put it aptly in tamil- "sandhulae sindhu paadikittu erunthaan" or "cycle gapplae aeroplane ottitu erunthaan" .
I was taken back and my mind was working overtime about the incident and blasting him in whatever words i could think of.
After my tempermental outburst while i was coming back to normal had a deep thought whether he is the only one to be punished for his grave desires or many. My answer is .....he is not the only one to be punished but few more left un noticed should also be included.
As men, we mostly crave for either money or women or both. When the greediness in either or both is partially fulfilled thirdly comes the urge for power.
In my story the priest craves for women. We blast him left, right and center but we forgive priests who crave for money in the name of God. Our system has changed in such a way that most of us offer money to the priest to drag his attention towards us and perform poojas in a very special way. More we offer more special treatment will be meted out.
The saddest part is they think offering money to the priest and not offering money in the hundi is like donating money to God which is not the case.
Since we all bribe(i cannot say the offering to priest is offering to God) we strongly feel that it is as normal as we bribe the officials and so its not grave desire.
Money oriented will be thinking about the money going to be offered by the disciple and women oriented will be thinking about what the waiting woman going to offer.
In either of these they are not true to their job.
Our mindset accepts money part but yet to come in terms with woman part of it. Maybe few years down the lane who knows we even think latter is also normal.
I am not here to support my story's hero but wondering the impact of commercialization even to the nucleus level ie.God.
Punish my Hero but also do not forget to punish the money fetish priests bar religion b'coz i feel both are equally grave desires.
The hero of the story was caught when he tried to make all his casanova adventures from his mobile into a c.d. maybe for his future reference or his memory card was overloaded.
I am waiting for your valuable inputs on my way of thinking.
Adios.

Healthy Recipes

Hi Bloggers,
We blog to share our opinions, fight for a cause, express our anger, our likes and dislikes and so on......
In this blog i am getting a little away from those topics and put across some useful tips to stay healthy and beat stress. This is a selfish blog because i want to keep a note of the tips for myself for future reference as i am very poor in treasuring the articles safely.
Foremost of a healthy living is reducing stress. Adding ginger in our food keeps our mood high through the day and apricots fights headache due to stress. On top of all these being positive, enjoying recreation and meditation serves as better medication.
Junk foods - order of the day in modern world. Oats, oatmeal fights bad cholesterol together with brown rice, green tea and coriander.
Eating apples and garlic will help smokers and city dwellers fight respiratory diseases and power up the lungs.
Sharpening our memory by having fish and flaxseeds regularly.
Olive oil and almonds reduces age related brain disorders.
The more we munch about democracy and politics more chances of blood pressure. So munch about politics and democracy with banana, coconut water and orange juice as these will negate hypertension.
We cannot stop going to fancy restaurants or road shops to have yummy food but Cranberry juice, guava and coriander leaves will take care of our digestive system.
Grapes, wine, lychees, green tea and amla will take care of our fragile heart and help us to enter politics even at 70 and be a C.M or P.M. of our choice.
Yogurts reduces tummy and fight for 6 packs.
We cannot stop staring at the computer for hours together waiting for comments but boiled tomatoes, egg yolk and raspberry reduces eye diseases and help us stare more.
For our older generations mushrooms, papaya and pomegranates to reduce risk of cancer and spinach to prevent knee problems.
I have come to an end of recipes for healthy life and happy blogging.
Adios.

Bane of our System

Hi guys,
On looking at my previous posts i sound more angry towards our people but i am not able to conceal my emotions time and again.
Here is another one of the same intensity but to a very large proportion.......the thekkady tragedy...
Thekkady is one among the prime tourist destination in Kerala with backwaters like munnar and kumarakom.
A lovely place with backwaters surrounded by coconut trees and tree branches popping out of water makes it look amazingly beautiful. This thekkady in Gods own country has become the yamadharmaraja (God of Death) of 45 people and still counting.
A ferry carrying around 85 people capsized in the middle of water among which 25 escaped, 45 drowned and others still missing.......The reason given by the government states that the boat capsized as all the people went to one side of the boat to have a glimpse of an elephant in the forest.
On interrogation, the boat driver revealed that he did not have experience in handling fibre boat and he was an amateur.
Is this shame on thekkady tourist authorities or our government negligence?????
We cannot blame our government as a whole for tsunami deaths or unlikely floods and famine but thekkady tragedy....purely our government system failure.
Are we taking any preventive measures like
mandatory use of life saving jackets for tourists during boat trip.....no
Maintenance and servicing of boats regularly......no
Only experienced drivers for the boats.....no
Or else are we prepared for this kind of situation like experienced swimmers for the safety of tourists or guards stationed at regular distance to attend critical situations, the answer is again no.
The saddest part of them all is a photo in a newspaper of a boat in cochin plying tourists without jackets for safety after thekkady tragedy is really hard to digest and feel angry over our system.
When we possess zero risk management procedures, how can we boast as Incredible India!!!!!!!
I am eager to contribute for change in our system and raise my voice without any second thought that i am Proud to be an Indian.
Please give me your feedback to enlighten our society and lead India to incredible heights.

The Rumor Bomb

Hey guys,
Today i feel totally devastated on hearing the news of stampede which plucked 5 innocent lives in Delhi high school.
The devastation is more since it is caused due to rumour bomb.I am not able to understand why all these unnecessary hoax originate without even thinking of the consequences.
I am here to share such an incident happened in Tamilnadu and its after effects.
It was a sunny sunday afternoon and waiting for my 2 year old boy to get up from his sleep to immunise him againt polio. Yes that was Polio day in both Tamilnadu and Karnataka.
After making sure that there in no long standing queue in the polio booth my wife and mother took him for polio vaccine.
Within 10 minutes of their exit my father called me to tell me a horrifying news that 3 children died in another polio booth in our city due to the vaccine. I immediately rushed to our booth to stop them from administering but it was too late as i could see my son gulping chocolates at the nearby store. I was shell shocked and not able to react. When i switched on my idiot box one tamil news channel was flashing this many dead in these districts and so on.
I then called my friend who is a paediatrician and was enquiring about the side effects or symptoms of vaccine failure and i passed on the message to my wife. He asked me to keep my kid under observation for 4 hours.
As a father and husband not able to show my stress rushed out of my home to a nearby hospital to see whats going on. Adding fuel to fire whoever i met, where telling me stories of this many death here, there and everywhere. Hospitals were overflowing with most of the parents with their kid ..............in a state very hard to explain.
Those four hours of observation on my kid for any signs or symptoms as a father has no words.
The next day it was claimed as hoax to the relief of all.
The next dose of polio drops which was just few weeks away had very few takers as a result of the previous shock caused by the rumour.
In Psychology of Rumor, Gordon Allport and Joseph Postman concluded that, "as rumor travels it [...] grows shorter, more concise, more easily grasped and told."
The animals(it is insulting animals though) who are involved in these kind of rumors should be ordered capital punishment and it should echo in each and everyone's ears before trying to utter any of these kind.
This rumour bomb punishment should also include the politicians who give promises during election and treat it as words written in running water.
Its high time for the younger generation to break the shackles and make a hybrid society devoid of polluting agents in all forms.
Adios.
